The Board is accepting, on behalf of the Election Office, $94,487 in Federal Grants.
Half of the grant ($47,244) is for the Election Office to purchase Ballot on Demand printers that are to be used in all the new voting centers. The other half of the grant is for the Recorder; with most of the funds ($40,000) for a Voter Education Program in the rural areas- a “Get Out the Vote” program in the Tuba City area. This is targeted spending to areas with high propensity Democrat voters.
