Georgia passed a statute banning outside funding and influence directly to election offices, such as the grants being offered by the USAEE. In 2023 Dekalb County, working with the legal team at CTCL, circumvented the statute and the county’s governing body accepted a $2M grant and membership in the “Alliance.”
