Article: The republican stronghold of Douglas County has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Center for Tech and Civic Life
The republican stronghold of Douglas County has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) for election support and security needs ahead of the general election in November. After CTCL donated and directed ~$400 million in “Zuckerbucks” into the 2020 election to support county election offices in primarily blue districts, 28 legislatures have banned the practice of taking nonprofit money to run elections.
The grant was uncovered through an open-records request submitted by Silver State Times. According to the report, Douglas County Grants Administrator Debbie Swickard applied for the grant on August 19, stating:
“As a rural County with limited funding a grant award will help us fill the gaps to purchase needed items for security. Being pro-active to mitigate any possible threat we would like to purchase transport carts for mail ballots and bullet proof glass for our election public counter. We are also in need for tables and shelving systems for our processing facility as well as tables for our vote centers. We are extremely grateful for any funding to help us maintain fair and safe elections for Douglas County.”

Article: Soros gave $750K to group interfering in Milwaukee elections
A Democrat-friendly dark money group bankrolling Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s 2024 elections previously received $750,000 from an organization founded by leftist billionaire George Soros.
Earlier this month, Urban Milwaukee revealed that the Democrat stronghold — in a county Joe Biden won by nearly 40 points in the 2020 election — was offered a $786,500 election grant from Cities Forward, a virtually unknown nonprofit organization that markets itself as a “nonpartisan effort focused on helping cities around the country make participation in the democratic process a priority.” According to Claire Woodall, the executive director of the Milwaukee Election Commission, the funds will be used to purchase new election equipment such as voting machines that print paper ballots and ballot tabulators, among other items.
The Milwaukee Election Commission and the Milwaukee Public Library also accepted a $250,000 grant from Cities Forward. Just the News reported that the grant will go towards a supposedly “non-partisan public education campaign … to increase civic connection among residents” that includes “Encourag[ing] ALL residents to register to vote, sign up to vote by mail, vote early, and update their state ID/driver’s licenses.”

Article: County Purchases New Building for Voting Center Across from Courthouse
05/23/2023
Macoupin County voters will have a new place to early vote in person starting in 2024, County Clerk Pete Duncan announced recently. The County has purchased an office building just across the street from the Courthouse in Carlinville that will serve as the Macoupin Voting Center.
Utilizing the grant the Election Office received as being named one of the ten Centers for Election Excellence nationwide, Duncan worked with the County Board to purchase the building without using any taxpayer dollars. The grant covered the costs of the purchase and will cover the necessary upgrades and renovations to the building. For example, a ramp will need to installed for access to the main floor for better access to the public.
“I appreciate that the County Board agreed with me that using the Election Excellence grant, we should create a voting center as part of the Courthouse complex,” Duncan said. Voters who wish to vote early in person will now be able to utilize the parking right outside the building entrance, walk right in, and cast their ballot instead of trying to find parking around the Courthouse and going through the security entrance to get to the next floor up from the public entrance to vote.

Update on the City of Madison’s $1.5M Grant Received from CTCL
Email from Ron Heuer, President of Wisconsin Voters Alliance – March 22, 2024
We had received notification in January that the City of Madison had received $500,000 of the total $1,500,000 of the CTCL grant on December 27th and at that time in January, none of the money had been spent.
Here is an update on the City of Madison’s $1.5M grant they received from CTCL. As of March 22, 2024:
Current Disposition
City of Madison Wisconsin – U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence CTCL $1.5M Grant.
We had received notification in January that the City of Madison had received $500,000 of the total $1,500,000 of the CTCL grant on December 27th and at that time in January, none of the money had been spent.
Today, I received an update from the City of Madison accounting department that, indeed, they had received the balance of $1,000,000 on December 28. So, the City of Madison has received the entire $1,500,000.
In addition, I learned that in a Jan 18, 2024 City Council meeting, $279,608 had been allocated in Resolution 24-00068 for the purchase of Election Security carts, the company being EZ Carts. I have also attached a PDF that was used during that meeting describing the EZ Cart product. To authorize the noncompetitive purchase of goods from Printelect as a sole source provider of election security carts for the City Clerk’s Office. Sponsors: Jael Currie, John W. Duncan, Derek Field, Sabrina V. Madison and Michael E. Verveer.
A second resolution was passed on Jan 18th allocating $1,040,720 for the purchase of an end to end absentee ballot system.
Authorizing the payment of goods from DMT Solutions Global Corporation dba Bluecrest on a cooperative contract of an automated absentee ballot mailing system for the City Clerk’s Office prior to the delivery of all goods.
In summation, $1,320,328 of the $1.5M has been allocated to be spent, leaving a balance of $179,672 to yet be allocated or spent.

Article: The Left is trying once more to privatize the 2024 election in Milwaukee, and they’re using the world’s biggest political machine to do it. It’s up to voters to save their state from D.C. mega-donors.
Wisconsinites couldn’t have a starker choice on April 2: Vote “yes” on Question 1 to ban tainted “Zuckbucks” forever—or let the Left continue selling election administration to the highest bidder.
If you needed any more evidence of the latter, consider the newly announced $800,000 grant from an opaque left-wing nonprofit to Milwaukee’s elections department to “process absentee ballots” and “connect with voters via text messages” mere weeks before voters ban such private funding.
In a bare repeat of 2020’s Zuckbucks scheme, another shadowy group—Cities Forward—is attempting to privatize the government office responsible for counting voters’ ballots in a city that broke for Joe Biden by 183,000 votes.
